ENGLISH VERSION: Researchers in Moscow discussed the religious factor in communication management
Within the 4th Convention of the Russian International Studies Association, the session of the panel "Communication management as a new factor in world politics and international relations" took place. One of the most interesting topics of the discussion was the religious factor in the communication management.
The 4th Convention of the Russian International Studies Association – RISA (Space and Time in World Politics) was held at Moscow State Institute for the Intern MGIMO (University) on September, 22-23rd. 26 sections took part in its work. In the Convention took part nearly 700 researchers from 19 countries.
One of the sections meeting was dedicated to the theme of communication management (management through communications). The meeting was opened with the report ("Communication management: the strategical role in control of world politics and international relations sphere") by the section Chairman, Director of the International Center of Social and Political Studies and Consulting, Head of the Communication Management Center (Russian-German Нigher School of Management at the National Economy Academy under the Government of Russian Federation), member of the Russian Association of Public Relations, Professor Evgeny Pashentsev . During the section work a lot of interesting examples of communication practice from modern business, government, social life in USA, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Sweden, Yugoslavia, Russia were discussed.
In particular, one of the most interesting themes of the panel was the religious factor in communication management: "The religious factor in communication management of USA foreign policy" by the director of Military-Religious Studies Centre, Moscow City Pedagogical University associate professor Sergei Mozgovoy , by Sergei Burjanov (Co-Chairman of the Institute of Conscience of Freedom) - "Communication aspect of confessional factor use in world politics" , by Ph.D. Leonid Ryzhov "Axiological Aspects of Right to Liberty of Conscience in Context of Global Communication".
In the section work Gregory Simons from Crismart (The National Centre for Crisis Management Research and Training of the Swedish National Defence College in Stockholm) took part with the report "Mass Media and the Battle for Public Opinion in the Global War on Terror", and Georgi Kolarov (Free University of Varna, Bulgaria) with the report "The role of liberation theology in ideology and political practice of Lula’s government".
The presented reports differ with the depth of analysis of communication services in some countries of the world. The research results may be used with benefit in the practice of modern business and government administration.
